Tropical Power

Challenge

In 2015 the independent power producer, Tropical Power, had developed Kenya’s first grid-connect biogas facility.   

It wanted to develop interest from other agricultural producers to develop utility-scale energy generation from biomass.

Our work

  • We developed a launch programme for the Gorge Farm Energy Park (GFEP) to engage with prospective clients.  
  • Led outreach to government stakeholders and media.  
  • Developed client target list and managed commissioning tours and events at GFEP.  
  • Managed commissioning event with County and National Government dignitaries.

Impact 

  • Attracted over 200 prospective clients to visit GFEP.  
  • Generated tier 1 local and international trade media.
