    European Union (EU) Uganda

    The EU in Uganda, the Office of the Prime Minister and the African Union wanted to organize a youth symposium that would attract participants from Africa, Europe and the Global South representing public and private organizations and institutions (preferably, relevant policy makers, academia, and NGOs involved in the youth affairs, and development partners working in AU Member States.

     

    Our Solution

     

    The scope of work carried by Levanter included:
    • Printing of overall event branding material and delivery.
    • Source and manage the event suppliers.
    • Organize local transportation from airport to hotel/venue and vice versa.
    • Source for English, French, Arabic and Swahili interpreters.
    • Source for 5 professional notetakers.
    • Photography and videography.
    • Provide 2 local event managers for local presence and support.

     

    The Impact

     

    • The Symposium attracted participants from Africa, Europe and the Global South.
    • The indicative number of participants was 800 (450 international and 350 nationals.
