Challenge

Nearly half of all healthcare expenditure in Kenya is paid out-of-pocket, which is a burden on millions of people and a serious barrier to accessing treatment. M-TIBA was looking to scale its new mobile health products for low-income Kenyans and its platform proposition with insurance partners and healthcare providers.

Our work

  • We launched M-TIBA in 2015 through press and digital.  
  • Retained for +5 years to develop 360° campaigns to drive reputation and growth.  
  • Helped spread the word and drive sign-ups with digital influencers, stakeholders, and patients. 
  • Managed campaign across earned, owned, and paid channels.

Impact 

  • M-TIBA has signed up over 4.7 million users and 3,000 clinics. 
  • Established market-leading digital and social presence.
